The Sussex Tornados are a completely voluntary run cheerleading programme, who are also recognised as a Registered Charity. They have a board of Trustees who aim to provide a facility for children, youth and young adults in the community, where they can learn championship cheerleading routines and life skills to help them in the future.

We currently have 150 active members, male and female, aged from 3 1/2 to 25 years old. As we enter our 26th season, we have 12 competitive teams that will travel across the UK and worldwide to compete against some of the best teams in the world.

We have a Recreational team that sees many new and returning athletes weekly, who get the opportunity to move into a competition team at the end of each season. We also run a Saturday morning Open Tumble class, which is open to anyone, not just our cheerleaders, so everyone has the chance to improve their skills.

Our 19th season saw the launch of our 'Disability Cheer & Dance' team, for SEN to become part of our ever growing Allstar Family. This programme will resume if we receive more interest in the future.

Sussex Tornados would like to thank everyone that has helped make them the team that they are today. Another big thank you goes to all the parents over the years for their continued support and all the other teams who have been kind and supportive over the years.

Last, but by no means least, we would like to wish all teams a very big GOOD LUCK for all your up and coming competitions.
